You think too much! It is getting to the point of ridiculousness. These situations in your head aren’t real. All that worrying you do is for nothing. You have to calm down. Breathe. Instead of thinking of all the negatives that could happen, do something about the problem. Work toward a real solution instead of imagining the worst. Remember that good outcomes are just as likely as bad. There is no need to constantly replay your fears. Think of all the other possibilities as well. Take a break from the situation altogether. Put a stop to overthinking by distracting yourself. “Try noticing your thoughts as if they were leaves floating by in a stream.” Let the thoughts fade away and get back to living. It may take some time to fully eradicate these negative thoughts, but it will happen.
